‘A Dreamer’s Point Of View’ - solo exhibition
‘A Dreamer’s Point of View’ it’s a reflexion about the influence of our subconscious on how we look at landscapes. As a child, she remembers her uncle warning her about the danger of her head falling.
Photography appears as a crutch to move forward without losing your mind, and nature as a subject, reveals to be the richest space that transforms forms in abstracts thoughts.
The artist punctuates the end of her dreams with a hole in a cork tree before getting inside a mysterious cork forest. A new cycle can start as it is represented by the only tree whose trunks is capable of self-regeneration.
The body of work presented is representative by 10 photographs of a search for different natural landscapes in mainland Portuguese territory and its archipelagos (in the islands of Madeira and the Azores).
‘A Dreamer’s Point of View’ was presented in October 2021 in Lisbon.
